物体的转动惯量是需要精确知道的物体参数之一。它可以用计算或实测两种方法确定。摆动周期测量仪就是物体转动惯量测量系统的重要仪器。在分析了苏联制造的相似产品以后,根据使用单位的要求和国产器件情况,我们研制的摆动周期测量仪中采用了中规模MOS集成电路,并对仪器的功能作了改进:使一次摆动中测量周期的“舍”数和“取”数独立选取;通过改变时基增加了测量若干周期的“平均值”;除了保留原有“手动复位”装置外,还增加了“自动复位”装置;用闸门指示电路代替一般数字仪器中常用的指示灯闸门指示装置。由于采用MOS器件,使得仪器体积减小、功耗降低、机箱密封、防潮防尘性能改善,有利于提高仪器可靠性。当输入脉冲信号周期大于0.1秒、幅度(p-p)在1—12伏范围内时仪器可靠工作,测量精度达到相对误差≤5×10~(-5)。
