自从花鸟画作为一种独立的画科出现在中国画坛,便占据着很重要的角色。随着朝代的更迭,岁月的变迁,花鸟画无论从绘画技法还是题材内容上都得到了长足的发展。到元代花鸟画的水墨技法更趋于写意抒情,而题材内容则出现了以“梅、兰、竹、菊”四君子为描绘对象的花鸟画盛极一时,究其原因有其历史发展的必然性,是历史发展到一定程度上的必然结果。具体原因,一是因为诗画结合风气盛行,这类题材正好符合社会风气;二可归纳为社会政治相关联所产生的结果;三可归纳为技法上的历史继承。
Since the flower and bird painting appeared as an independent painting section in Chinese painting, it occupies a very important role.
