To the editor:Cancer metastasis has an overall incidence of 0.7%-4.4%,and cutaneous metastases accounts for 0.7%-9.0% of all metastases.1 Time of cutaneous metastasis occurrence generally occurs within 5 years of initial carcinoma diagnosis. There is an association between estrogen receptors and time of metastasis occurrence,2 which can be explained by tumor dormancy. We report a case of cutaneous metastasis from breast cancer diagnosed 25 years ago.
