数字集成电路领域可分为三大领域:微处理器、存储器和数字逻辑.微处理器以及单片机是大多数机器的心脏或大脑,而存储器无论是动态的、静态的还是非易失性的,都能以数字的形式存储信息.第三大领域,也是人们了解最少的领域,就是数字逻辑.数字逻辑一般说来能够完成数据和控制信号的管理,从而把数字领域的所有东西联系在一起.从传统上说,在八十年代以前,逻辑功能通常是由标准的成品化的半导体元件来实现的.这些元件被称为晶体管一晶体管逻辑器件即TTL器件.可编程逻辑器件在八十年代初问世,已经在很大程度上取代了TTL器件.
The field of digital integrated circuits can be divided into three major areas: microprocessors, memories, and digital logic. Traditionally, before the eighties, logic functions were usually implemented by standard finished semiconductor components. These components were called transistor-transistor logic devices, ie, TTL devices. Programmable logic devices were in the early 1980s. Since its introduction, it has largely replaced TTL devices.
