This essay combs the origin of the theory of intertextuality and points out that Christiva developed the Bakhtin’s dialogue theory into an intertextual theory whose main point lies in the text production and the subject. Reynolds will narrowly understand the intertextuality, from the text level of the phenomenon of classification studies. Carle summarizes the theory of intertextuality as a dual focus, pointing out that intertextuality is not only the relationship between texts, but also the expression of the text in the cultural discourse space. This paper discusses the relationship between Eliot’s non-personal theory and intertextuality theory, and points out that non-personal theory can also be viewed as a double discussion of text and subject.
