This article presents an overview of a new method for wet-processing copper sulfide concentrates. The method includes leaching the copper concentrate with an acidic ferric sulfate solution followed by copper electrolysis while regenerating the leaching agent on the anode in a septum cell. The article describes and discusses the leaching of concentrate, excessive leaching agent FeSO 4 · H 2 O in the form of high temperature crystallization and diaphragm electrolysis every 辺 process. The basic feature of this process is the regeneration of the leachate twice, so that the ferric ion concentration in the recycle liquid is reduced to about 50% of the theoretical amount required for the leaching reaction.
