Mouse erythrocyte (ME) rosette formation is a proprietary feature of a small subset of B lymphocytes. The earliest reports pointed out that the number of ME rfc in circulating blood of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) was significantly increased, while MErfc was decreased in patients with Bruton-type gag Immunoglobulin (MIg) staining also failed to detect such B cells. Since then, ME nodal formation has been used to assist in the diagnosis of CLL and is widely used in the study of leukemias and lymphomas. Recently, these studies have been extended to other diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis. Although the results of MErfc tests differ significantly from those in normal subjects, the examples reported in this paper show that ME ME
