2010年10月,深期平面设计三十年回顾展在北京举行,透过它可以看到作为中国平面设计缩影的深圳平面设计状况。改革开放以来三十年间,深圳平面设计完成了跨越式的大发展,为中国平面设计争取到了前所未有的国际地位,对中国当代的文化发展做出了重要贡献。但在深圳平面设计的光环背后,人们也逐渐意识到“设计之都”正面临着缺乏新一代领军人物、各个设计门类之间发展不平衡与缺乏整合、始终没有出现大型的本土设计企业、缺乏地域文化的传承与认同等等一系列不得不说的问题。在回顾历史的时刻提出这些问题,并触发相关职能部门和从业者的思考与行动,恰是我们多年来致力于设计批评的意义所在。主持人/祝帅
In October 2010, a three-year retrospective of the deep-term graphic design was held in Beijing. Through it, we can see the status of Shenzhen’s graphic design as a microcosm of China’s graphic design. In the 30 years since the reform and opening up, Shenzhen graphic design has achieved great leaps and bounds, has won unprecedented international status for China’s graphic design, and made significant contributions to the development of contemporary Chinese culture. However, behind the aura of graphic design in Shenzhen, people are also gradually realizing that the “design capital” is facing a lack of a new generation of leaders. The development imbalances and lack of integration among various design categories have never seen the emergence of large-scale local design enterprises , The lack of inheritance and identity of regional culture and so on a series of questions that must be said. It is precisely the significance of our dedication to design criticism over the years that these issues are raised at the time of reviewing history and the thinking and actions of relevant functional departments and practitioners are triggered.
