加拿大女性作家艾丽丝·门罗的最新作品集《亲爱的生活》一问世就受到读者的广泛关注。众多学者和评论家从生态女性主义、巴赫金的对话理论、叙事理论等不同角度来解读小说集中男女主人公的生活处境。本文意图借助弗莱的神话原型理论,探讨《亲爱的生活》中短篇小说《漂流到日本》的追寻主题原型,揭示出原型背后小说所传达的思想内涵,从而更为深刻地理解门罗对女性在追寻自由和解放当中所遇到的困惑和纠结的思考。
As soon as dear life, the latest collection of Canadian women writer Alice Monroe, came to the attention of readers. Many scholars and commentators interpret the life situations of the hero and heroine in the novel from the different perspectives of ecofeminism, Bakhtin’s dialog theory and narrative theory. This article intends to use Frye’s mythological prototype theory to explore the theme of the pursuit of “drifting to Japan” in “Dear Life,” to reveal the ideological content conveyed by the prototype behind the novel, so as to understand Monroe more deeply about women Reflections on Perplexity and Tumult in the Pursuit of Freedom and Liberation.
