In recent years, the variable geometry gas turbine with a switchable leaf as a means has gained a wide range of applications. Practice has proved that it can effectively improve the performance of the engine: reduce fuel consumption in some conditions, improve startup characteristics and acceleration performance. In some cases it can also be used as a reversing mechanism, brake or speeding safety device. It is significant that during commissioning it can be used effectively to regulate traffic and to achieve interstage load redistribution. At the same time, however, it will complicate the crew, especially the fuel conditioning system, and increase manufacturing costs. this
