本文用砂滤管法研究了包括各种作物、绿肥和水生绿肥在内的植物残体,在广州和无锡的水稻田和旱地中的分解速率。广州与无锡两地的年均温相差6.4℃,年降水量相差550mm,当供试土壤相同时,同一植物残体在广州的分解速率显著地较在无锡的为大。但同一植物残体在广州红壤介质中(pH:4.60;粘粒:44.0%)的分解速率,与在无锡黄棕壤介质中(pH:7.72;粘粒:34.5%)的分解速率很相近似。看来,植物残体在南亚热带和热带土壤中的分解速率,由于土壤性质的影响,并不一定要比北亚热带土壤中的快。
In this paper, the rate of decomposition of plant residues including various kinds of crops, green manure and aquatic green manure in paddy fields and dry land in Guangzhou and Wuxi was studied using sand filter. The annual average temperature difference between Guangzhou and Wuxi was 6.4 ℃, and the annual precipitation varied by 550mm. When the tested soil was the same, the decomposition rate of the same plant residue in Guangzhou was significantly larger than that in Wuxi. However, the rate of decomposition of the same plant residue in red soil media of Guangzhou (pH: 4.60; clay: 44.0%) was similar to that of the yellow-brown media in Wuxi (pH: 7.72; clay: 34.5% . It appears that the rate of decomposition of plant debris in the subtropical and tropical soils does not necessarily have to be faster than in subtropical soils due to the nature of the soil.
