Since October 1992, “92 Beijing International Art and Cultural Products Auction”, mainland China began to resume the auction of works of art. After an initial pilot, expansion and development over the past decade, the auction market is gradually becoming more normative. Before 2000, the auction of art was in its infancy and the initial period was only about 400 million yuan in the year with the highest turnover of the national auction. In the more than five years since 2001, the scale of the art auction has been gradually enlarged, reaching its peak in the spring of 2005. According to incomplete statistics, the total turnover of domestic art auction enterprises reached 22.96 billion yuan during the five years from 2001 to 2005. The rapid development of Chinese art market has aroused the concern of art dealers worldwide, attracting worldwide attention.
