作为一种新的无线网络技术,无线Mesh网(WMN)引入了WLAN与ad-hoc网络两者的长处,在很大程度上解决了网络资源受限与覆盖面积等方面的困境,其方便进行架设、传输率相对较高、强大的容错性能、覆盖区域相对较好等长处,使其为业界人士所普遍赞同的一个组网技术。但其自身所具有的特征为业界人士开发工作也带来非常严峻的挑战。虽然现阶段的探讨已有了非常明显的成效,然而其中依旧具有一系列问题,其中涉及到每一层协议的修改、安全性等问题。
