在上演一出英文戏剧之前,为选择汉译本,必须制定一系列可依从的评价标准。本文即针对这一问题,从戏剧语言的特征出发,探讨分析评估译本时涉及的要素。在阐明戏剧兼备文学艺术和表演艺术双重特征的基础上,以英国戏剧作家王尔德的两出喜剧《认真为上》(the Importance of Being Earnest)和《温德美夫人的扇子》(Lady Windermere’s Fan)的六个译本为例子,分析不同译本对戏剧语言特征的处理。
Before staging an English drama, in order to choose a Chinese translation, a series of evaluation criteria that can be followed must be formulated. This article aims to address this issue, starting from the characteristics of the drama language to explore the elements involved in the analysis and evaluation of the translation. On the basis of clarifying that drama possesses both the dual characteristics of literary arts and performing arts and the six dramas of the British theater writer Wilde, the Importance of Being Earnest and Lady Windermere’s Fan, As an example, this paper analyzes different versions of the processing of dramatic language features.
