李曙新老师作为省语文教研员,他工作指向的最大特点是“大面积”。他认为“大面和”,在不同范畴有不同的对象。就全省来说,农村是大面积;就学校来说,非重点学校是大面积;就学段来说,初中是大面积:就学生来说,中等学生是大面积。把力量下在“大面积”上,“大面积”上去了,才有真正的语文教学水平的提高。他说,“尖子”总是有的,但代表不了大多数。“大面积”上去了,既可以促进尖子更上一层楼,又能带动“尾巴”跟上来。他在“大面积”上辛勤耕耘,孜孜不倦地指导教学,受到老师们的欢迎。
