小学数学在培养学生思维能力方面,既要培养学生的形象思维能力,也要培养学生的抽象思维能力,很多教师只注重形象思维能力的培养,往往忽视了对学生抽象思维能力的培养。形象思维和抽象思维两者是相辅相成的,不能因为强调抽象思维能力的培养,课堂上而忽视了一些形象直观的教学手段,过分强调抽象。小学生的思维特点,还是形象思维占主导地位,由多种思维交织在一起共同发挥作用,有时很难区分开来是哪一种思维,在具体的课堂教学中也没有必要过分强调是那种思维方式。教学中应注重对学生的思维能力培养。
