The discovery of the deposit or mineral prospect is often attributed to regional geochemical anomalies. This anomaly should not be overlooked, although it contains only a single anomaly. It is not always advisable to use a dense survey line, and the cost of exploration and the value of the target under investigation need to be weighed. One of the issues involved in developing a survey strategy is the probability estimate of the line cutting objective. Existing reports only deal with linear or oval single targets. In this paper, the author discusses the multi-objective situation of any shape in polygons and uses parsing, numerical integration and Monte Carlo method to compare the results. FORTRAN was designed and run on a IBM-PCXT microcomputer for evaluation purposes (single and 8 targets in complex form). The Monte-Carlo method will be more suitable when the target location is not evenly distributed.
