Confucianism, as the school name in the history of thought and as a modern subject, are two entirely different things. What is very regrettable is that the neo-Confucian school abroad has always confused the two and led to the unclear concept in academic research. The ensuing confusion is that the objective study of the history of ideas is to be treated in the same way as the traditional Confucianist axiology believed to be partially inherited. In fact, both the former and the latter must be re-examined and re-evaluated in the entire humanities theory of the modern world. For its faith of value, nature should be re-evaluated with reference to today’s humanities and social sciences and ethics. How to analyze and study the history of Confucianism today should also be based on the overall achievements of the humanities and social sciences in the modern world. Here we particularly point out the semiotics that emerged after the war - interdisciplinary such as hermeneutics - intercultural epistemology and methodology. Therefore, it is impossible for the modern scientific researches on the two subject systems to be carried out only within the discipline of Confucianism or the history of Chinese philosophical thought. Now Confucianism research should be the most typical interdisciplinary The cutting-edge academic field of culture. Based on this, this article reviews the point of view of the Neo-Confucian school of philosophy in Hong Kong and Taiwan. In particular, around the significance of academic achievement of the second-generation representative philosopher Mou Zongsan, discussed by Mr. Liu Soshin, the third generation of representative philosopher of the school, View, that is open to question.
