Spatial direction verbs in Shanghai Sign Language include one-way verbs and multi-way verbs. One-way verbs have only one direction in terms of semantics, which is consistent with their semantics. There is only one directional movement of one-way verbs. Fixed unidirectional refers to the fixed (or relatively fixed) direction of unidirectional verbs; flexible unidirectional refers to the fact that the unidirectional verb direction can be significantly different from its reference form in use, but this change does not result in a basic Changes in the semantic meaning of a particular direction. The multi-directional verb has multiple directions, and can freely move in multiple directions according to the actual situation, or can freely point the finger in multiple directions to express the different directions of the action. One-way verbs and multi-way verbs can be properly adjusted in context.
