粘土结碎石路是用不同的级配碎石和粘土,分层铺装,籍压路机碾压,使其互相嵌桥粘结而成的一种过渡式的路面。我市所修筑的粘土结碎石路可区分两种:一种是用7~9公分碎石作承重层、4~6公分碎石作磨损层、1~3公分碎石与粗砂作封层,虚铺18公分,压实厚度12公分。另一种是用4~6公分碎石作承重层、2~4公分碎石作磨损层、0.5~2公分石屑与粗砂作封层,虚铺15公分,压实厚度10公分。经过四年来的行车考验证明这种粘土结碎石路是造价低廉,施工简便,效果良好的。根据我市目前发展情况,修筑粘土结碎石路有以下几点有利条件: 1.材料产地较近,成本造价低,在1956年度每平方公尺造价约2.50元。
