If you have a positive attitude toward aging, then you will live longer! This is the conclusion drawn from the extensive study that explored the relationship between an individual’s attitude toward aging and its lifespan. In fact, a positive self-perception of aging may be more important than other health-related factors (such as non-smoking, exercise). Psychologist Becca Levius examined the death rate of more than 600 elderly people. He measured the attitude of these elderly people to death more than 20 years ago.
