This article recommends a rapid method of trace chemical analysis. It uses a single arc excitation of a milligram or less sample for the 68-element assay. Based on the synthetic powder standard, the results were visually evaluated by spectral line strength and the results were reported as percentages in the ranges of 10 to 3, 3 to 1, 1 to 0.3, and so on. It is not necessary to identify minerals because of their trace element content. So there is no attempt to make it reach a higher limit of detection. The use of additional slides on the cassette allows the use of high-speed emulsions in the red portion of the spectrum and low-speed emulsions in the ultraviolet portion for these methods. Slides can be controlled in the arc evaporation of alkali metal, the long-wave part of the exposure. In the meantime, this also allows the UV part to be exposed for the full arc time.
