在纯合两型系48AB中选择硫甙含量低的可育株进行连续自交并淘汰育性分离的后代。当硫甙含量稳定在较低水平时,在有育性分离的后代中重新选可育株和不育株进行兄妹交,使纯合两型系的性状尽早稳定,由此育成双低纯合两型系72AB。对恢复系进行配合力测定,获得一般配合力最高的双低恢复系HF02。通过双低纯合两型系72AB和临保系LB03配制全不育系,并用全不育系和恢复系HF02生产杂交新品种核杂7号。它成为我国第一个通过国家品种审定的双低显性核不育三系杂交种。

The whole sterile line was made by two low homozygous two-line type 72AB and Pro-line LB03, and a new hybrid variety Kouza No.7 was made by using all-sterile line and restorer line HF02. It became the first double-dominant dominant three-line CMS in China approved by the national variety.
