由于猪在机体解剖结构、器官大小、生理功能和病理特征等方面与人相似,因此猪不仅是重要的肉用家畜,还具有重要的人类医学模型价值。“十二五”期间国家重大科学研究计划在干细胞领域设立了“诱导多功能干细胞(i PS)猪与小型猪疾病模型”重大科学问题导向项目。项目组在过去的5年时间里开展了大量的探索性科研工作,取得了一系列的科研成果。本文围绕项目组开展的科研工作进行了综述,从领域的研究背景、世界前沿进展、项目组取得的主要进展、仍存在的问题以及未来的发展方向等方面进行阐述,希望本文有助于全社会理解猪多能性干细胞和人类疾病模型猪相关工作的重要意义和在我国的发展状况。
Because pigs are similar to humans in terms of their anatomy, organ size, physiological function and pathological features, pigs are not only important meat livestock but also have important human medical model values. During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the state’s major scientific research program set up the “Stem Cell (i PS) Pig and Mini-swine Disease Model” project in the field of stem cells.
