目的研究252Cf放射性同位素中子源辐照杀菌的可能性。方法通过MCNP模拟计算方法,推算其所使用的模型,计算出252Cf中子辐射杀灭炭疽杆菌芽孢的辐照剂量和辐照时间。结果经MCNP理论模拟研究,建立了MCNP模拟252Cf中子源产生的中子辐射消毒的模型,推演出使用石蜡作为反射材料可取得最好的结果。计算出用252Cf中子辐射杀灭炭疽杆菌芽孢的辐照剂量为1 000 Gy,辐照时间为18 min。结论利用252Cf中子辐射杀灭炭疽杆菌芽孢具有实际应用的可能性。
Objective To study the possibility of radiation sterilization of 252Cf radioisotope neutron source. Methods The MCNP method was used to calculate the model used to calculate the radiation dose and irradiation time of 252Cf neutron irradiation to kill B. anthracis spores. Results By MCNP theoretical simulation, a model of neutron radiation disinfection produced by MCNP simulating 252Cf neutron source was established. The best results can be obtained using paraffin as the reflective material. The dose of irradiation with 252Cf neutron radiation to kill Bacillus anthracis spores was calculated to be 1 000 Gy and the irradiation time was 18 min. Conclusion The 252Cf neutron radiation to kill Bacillus anthracis spores has practical application possibilities.
