上世纪90年代中期,收得傅增湘的《藏园游记》一书,每于颓唐之际接读,辄耽于其文字的雄深雅健,而迷醉不能自拔。最先拜读的是《光绪戊戌旋蜀舟行日记》,这是他逗留北京考试,从少年到青年,首次返川的行路日记,满纸故园之思。既多古典式细腻刻画的笔触,更时有印象式的笔墨予以调和;舟泊陆行,一路风尘,以移步换景的山河风景为经纬,穿插市井风貌、生活方式,地方人物的人生沉浮,劳顿、忧伤、惊喜之余,还有一种近乡情怯的清空和孤寂……那是诗的泥土,也是烟火人间的泥土。一部游记,层次极其丰富而又分明,味道深醇,读之令人心情低回不已。
