自20世纪八十年代以来,以专业内容为基础的英语语言教学在欧美大陆和一些非洲国家逐渐流行,并成为英语语言教学的主要方法。在中国和其他一些亚洲国家,专业与英语结合的教学方式也得到广泛应用。但是,许多教师和研究人员对于该教学法在实践中存在的多种方式,以及这些方式之间的关系还存在不解或者误解。通过对以专业内容为基础的英语教学与国内流行的二语教学,专业应用研究与双语教学之间的区别与联系,分析了以专业内容为基础的英语教学在中国高等教育中的优势以及该教学法中教师,特别是语言教师所起的作用。
Since the eighties of the 20th century, English language teaching based on professional content has gradually become popular in Europe, the United States and some African countries and has become the main method of English language teaching. In China and other Asian countries, the combination of professional and English teaching has also been widely used. However, many teachers and researchers still have misunderstandings or misunderstandings about the various ways in which the pedagogy works in practice and the relationship between these methods. By analyzing the difference and connection between English teaching based on professional content and popular second language teaching, professional applied research and bilingual teaching in China, this paper analyzes the advantages of English teaching based on professional content in higher education in China, The role of teachers, especially language teachers, in pedagogy.
