文学作为人的生活活动之一,是人的主体力量的确认和见证。这种活动通过表现人的生活、思想、情感、审美需求和关怀人的历史命运来体现自己的价值。马克思主义文艺理论认为,文学这种表现活动从来就不是价值中立的,而是有鲜明的价值倾向性的,即文学首先和根本要解决的问题是:为什么人的问题。对此,马克思主义的解决办法是确立文学的人民性范畴。文学的人民性是马克思主义文艺理论的核心范畴,对这一范畴进行专题化的研究具有极为重要的意义。一 Literature as one of the activities of human life, is the confirmation and testimony of human’s main force.
