The Sino-French Schistosomiasis Symposium, co-sponsored by the Sino-French Association for the Promotion of Biological Medicine and the Department of Zoological Biology of the University of Perpignan, France, was held in Perpignan, southern France, from May 16 to May 22, 1988. There are nine experts and professors in our country who form a delegation to attend the meeting. For this reason, the Symposium venue Pei City Council Palace for the first time raised our national flag.
