利用优良两系不育系广占63-4S为母本人工去雄与具有高抗褐飞虱材料进行杂交,多代回交,结合分子标记辅助选择技术,成功选育出败育彻底、配合力强、并具有褐飞虱抗性的新不育系Bph68S,并利用Bph68S配组选育出抗褐飞虱杂交水稻新组合两优234.两优234生育期短(全生育期在128d左右)、优势强,稻米外观品质好、食味佳,主要理化指标达到国标三级优质稻谷质量标准;在2006年和2007年飞虱大发生年份表现出良好的抗性,田间未发现明显病害.
