小说《心》是日本文学巨匠夏目漱石的后期三部曲之一,于1914年4月20日至8月11日连载于《朝日新闻》上,后由岩波书店出版单行本,至今已过百年。《心》在中国的译介和传播也是深远的,至今已有20多个译本出版发行。《心》在中国能有如此大的影响离不开译者的努力。但不同的译者在翻译过程中所采取的翻译策略也是有差异的,从而对原作的反映也是不同的。该文以“归化”“异化”为中心,将原作与中译本(陈菀瑜、林少华译本)进行对比分析,从语言和文化层面探讨翻译的归化·异化策略问题。
The novel “Heart” is one of the later trilogy of Japanese literature master Natsume Soseki. It was serialized in “Asahi Shimbun” from April 20 to August 11, 1914, and has been published by Iwanami Bookstore for more than a hundred years. “Heart” in China is also far-reaching translation and communication, so far has more than 20 translations published. “Heart” in China can have such a great influence can not be separated from the translator’s efforts. However, the translation strategies adopted by different translators in the process of translation are also different, so the reaction to the original works is also different. This article focuses on the comparison between the original works and the Chinese versions (Chen Yu-yu and Lin Shao-hua) based on “naturalization ” “alienation ”, and explores the strategies of domestication and foreignization of translation from the linguistic and cultural aspects.
