本试验以三个株型矮小的水稻(Oryzasativa L.)雄性不育系和高杆型的恢复系为材料,将其隔行混插,对制种产量进行研究,结果发现‘Calady’和‘EarIirose’这两个水稻雄性不育系的结实率很低。这说明:它们既不宜用作制种材料,也不宜用于群体改良。‘Bir-Co’细胞质雄性不育系1978年的平均结实率为5.4%,1979年为32.5%。由于雌雄稻株的花期相遇情况较好,所以1979年的结实率较高。‘Bir-Co’细胞质雄性不育系有自花授粉现象。1979年的自花授粉率达3.5%。
In this experiment, three male sterile lines of Oryzasativa L. and restorer lines of high-rod type were used as materials. Intercalary and interbreeding were conducted to study the seed yield. The results showed that ’Calady’ and ’EarIirose ’The two rice male sterility lines have low seed setting rates. This shows that they are neither suitable for seed production nor suitable for group improvement. The average seed set rate of ’Bir-Co’ cytoplasmic male sterile line in 1978 was 5.4%, compared with 32.5% in 1979. Since the flowering period of male and female rice plants met well, the seed setting rate in 1979 was higher. The ’Bir-Co’ cytoplasmic male sterile line has self-pollination. In 1979, the rate of self-pollination reached 3.5%.
