通常传输彩色图象信号大约需要1700多个话路的带宽。本文介绍我们新近研制成功的一种只用一个话路,即使用普通电话线路的彩色静态图象通信系统。该系统数据传输速率为2.4~4.8kb/s,比特压缩率高达1~0.5bpp。采用新型的高速数字信号处理器TMS32020实现图象数据的高效压缩编/解码以及信道纠错编/译码运算。文中简要介绍了系统工作原理、数据压缩算法和系统中各主要部分的功能,还说明了这种视觉通信系统的广泛应用前景。通过线路试验和实际应用情况表明,该系统能利用普通电话线传输彩色图象信息,通信图象质量良好,很有实用价值。
It usually takes about 1,700 channels of bandwidth to transmit color image signals. This article presents our newly developed color static image communications system that uses only one session, that is, using regular telephone lines. The system data transfer rate of 2.4 ~ 4.8kb / s, bit compression rate as high as 1 ~ 0.5bpp. Using a new high-speed digital signal processor TMS32020 image data to achieve efficient compression encoding / decoding and channel error correction coding / decoding operations. The article briefly introduces the working principle of the system, the data compression algorithm and the main functions of the system. It also shows the wide application prospect of this visual communication system. Through the circuit test and practical application shows that the system can use ordinary telephone lines to transmit color image information, communication image quality is good, very practical value.
