The famous novelist Margaret Drabble, written in the novel “The Seven Sisters,” in 2002, is a masterpiece of novelty in narrative techniques. She has increased the distance and difference between female public life and private life through frequent conversion of narrative perspectives, revealing public and private narratives implicit in the text. The purpose of this article is to analyze the “Seven Sisters” by means of the narrative theory of the French literary theorist Jerneth and the narrative theory of Susan S. Lanser, the founder of the feminist narrative.
