Objective To investigate the clinicopathological significance of cell adhesion molecule CD1 5 in breast cancer and its relationship with C erbB 2, nm 2 3 and cath D. Methods The expression of CD15 in 84 cases of breast cancer and 20 cases of breast benign lesions were detected by S-P method using the immunohistochemical technique of microwave repair. Results The positive rate of CD15 in breast cancer was 57.1% (48/84), which was significantly lower than that in breast cancer High lymph node metastasis, C erbB 2 expression, cath D interstitial expression was positively correlated; but negative correlation with nm23 expression. Conclusions Cell adhesion molecule CD15 plays an important role in the proliferation, differentiation and metastasis of breast cancer cells, and its expression can be used as a useful indicator of poor differentiation and metastasis of breast cancer
