(一) “送神”和“接神”春节即将来临“千门万户盈喜气,欢欢喜喜齐过年”。兴化几千年来代代沿袭的春节风俗习惯,至今仍然风行。每年腊月,家家户户准备过年,首先“送神”,逐户的灶头奉祀着“司命灶君”。十二月廿三日“送灶神”上天奏报人间善恶,主人虔诚地备办三牲、果品、白糕、纸箔等,把礼物摆在灶君神位前,然后点烛焚香,祷告灶君上天向玉帝爷报告他家的善事,祈求合家健康,四季平安,来年工作顺利。
