平炉由水冷却改为汽化冷却以来,汽化冷却构件的寿命还不够理想,主要存在两个问题:一是漏水;二是构件钢板烧穿。特别是构件表面裸露在高温火焰之下,而水的流速又较小的区域损坏更严重。因此,适当移动汽化冷却构件焊缝的位置,使它不与火焰直接接触以及严格要求材料及焊接的质量,将会大大地延长汽化冷却构件的使用寿命。
