磁流体密封及其机理机器常用的密封可分为接触式与非接触式两大类。接触式密封如填枓密封及机械密封等,这种密封由于接触元件间摩擦、磨损较大,线速不宜过高,寿命受到磨损限制;非接触式密封如迷宫式密封和浮动环密封等,迷宫式密封因动件与静件间有间隙,没有磨损,但泄漏量大,密封效果差。浮动环密封摩擦、磨损较小,使用可靠,但承压能力随速度变化大,不宜用于低速场合,且停车时不能起密封作用,漏液多,对被密封介质有污染,密封系统复杂,自控要求高。磁流体密封(如图1所示),它靠中间一块永久磁铁使两侧磁极形成强磁场,从而将磁流体吸住在转动轴与静止元件之间,形成液体O形环,把间隙完全堵住,达到完全密封目
