模具是工业生产的重要装备,也是紧固件生产的四大要素之一,它与机床、材料、工艺同等重要。国外各厂对模具都十分重视,但我国还存在不小的差距。经过紧固件行业的长期努力,紧固件模具质量有了提高,主要模具平均寿命如表1所示。但与国外相比仍有很大差距。例如,国外一字槽冲头平均寿命为20万件,十字槽冲头平均寿命为10万件。这两种冲头的使用寿命为我国的10倍左右。搓丝板使用寿命为我国的5～15倍.这种现象与模具生产有关,其主要原因如下.
