大量的动物模型和人体实验研究证明硒即具有化学防预机能、又具有化学毒性双重作用。缺硒与多种肿瘤有关。硒甲基化可使之脱毒 ,研究硒的防预机能 ,就是寻找硒的低毒性形式。硒可诱导细胞凋亡 ,产生抗癌作用。硒组分还可激活 caspase蛋白酶 ,抑制细胞生长。硒半胱氨酸是硫氧还蛋白还原酶的活性中心 ,使活性中心受抑为癌症等疾病的治疗拓开了新的前景。
A large number of animal models and human experimental studies have proved that selenium has the dual functions of chemical anti-preliminary function and chemical toxicity. Selenium deficiency is associated with a variety of tumors. Selenium methylation can make it detoxified. To study the anti-pre-function of selenium is to look for a low toxicity form of selenium. Selenium can induce apoptosis and produce anticancer effects. Selenium also activates caspase protease and inhibits cell growth. Selenocysteine is the active center of thioredoxin reductase, which opens up new prospects for the suppression of active centers for the treatment of diseases such as cancer.
