《清華大學藏戰國竹書》中有《命訓》一篇,(1)可與傳世文獻《逸周書·命訓》對讀,爲竹書的整理通讀提供了不少方便。本文即將討論的問題也是通過對讀發現的。(1a)大命殜罰,少命〓身。(清華簡《命訓》簡10)(1b)大命世罰,少命罰身。(《逸周書·命訓》)清華簡整理者對(1a)的釋文是:“大命殜(世)罰,少(小)命〓(命命)身。”注云:“簡文‘小命命身’,今本作‘小命罰身’,疑當以今本爲是。孔晁云:遺(據盧校,當爲”違“字)大命則世受罰,犯小命則罰身。”(2)今按:出土簡本和傳世本並無不同,而是整理者對重文符號的理解存在問題。“命”後的重文符號所代替的並不是“命”字,而是上句話出現過的“罰”字。這種重文符號不表示它的前一字的重複出現,而表示上句或上文“語法位置、語法功能完全相
