第九次,赵本山还是毫无悬念地获得2007年春晚小品类评选一等奖。从1990年初登上春节联欢晚会一炮而红,到成为春晚挽救收视尴尬的“救命稻草”,赵本山成为了当之无愧的“小品王”,并且逐渐成为春晚小品标杆,但电视小品却正由盛而衰。它昌盛于另一个传统的语言类节目——相声衰败之时,长时间以来,小品是撑起中国式联欢晚会最多数时间的重要枝干,它与春晚几乎同时出现在中国观众的记忆中。现在,这个没有历史、没有传统、没有门派,甚至没有出身(之前仅仅是专业院校表演系学生的练习作业)的舞台形式,似乎正在步相声的后尘。是什么原因导致小品逐年乏善可陈,走向穷途?

Now, there is no stage, no tradition, no martialism, or even no origin (which was previously only the practice of students in the performing arts departments). What causes the skit year after year lackluster, toward the dead?
