Fractal geometry was used to process in-shot pre-mixed turbulent flame photographs obtained by high-speed schlieren photography. The results show that the structure of pre-mixed turbulent flame in the bomb has fractal characteristics, and the fractional dimension can be used to quantitatively describe the relationship between the wrinkle, the degree of torsion and the turbulence intensity
