GB 7588—2003《电梯制造与安全规范》已于2004年1月1日起正式实施,与GB 7588—1995相比在内容上有较大的变动。其中之一是新增了轿厢上行超速保护的要求,即曳引驱动电梯应装设轿厢上行超速保护装置。这类装置包括速度监控和减速元件,应能检测出上行轿厢的速度失控,其动作速度范围下限是电梯额定速度的115%,上限是限速器的上限动作速度。该装置可对轿厢、对重、曳引绳系统及曳引轮等部件的一个或几个同时起作用,使轿厢制停或使轿厢速度降低至对重缓冲器能够承受的设计范围内。该装置使空载轿厢制停时,减速度值应不超过1g。根据作用方式不同,上行超速保护装置可分为四大类:1)对曳引绳系统(悬挂绳或补偿绳)作用的夹绳
