影片所带来的变革,不仅仅是技术上的,而是拓展到了整个电影语言领域。李安或许都已经成为了一个电影神话,并不只是华语电影界的,他甚至是世界上每一个暗自誓约为电影奉献一切的人的精神春药。那些“八年煮夫”之类的故事被反复咀嚼,李安似乎被太多人捧上了神坛,在凭借《少年派的奇幻漂流》拿下奥斯卡之时,他的第一句话则是“感谢电影之”(thank you movie god)。所以,在《比利·林恩的中场战事》在北美评分与票房都不甚理想时,有人会觉得,李安失败了?事实真是如此吗?或许并没有那么简单。

Is that true? Perhaps not so simple.
