Male reproductive development is affected and controlled by many factors, of which anti-androgen action is an important mechanism leading to male reproductive toxicity, the ultimate effect can lead to reproductive disorders, including the decline of sperm quality, the disappearance of male characteristics. Androgen receptor can induce differentiation, the formation of secondary sexual characteristics, to maintain the occurrence of sperm. Its mediated antagonism is an important mechanism of anti-androgen effect. There is now a growing body of evidence that the androgen receptor is closely related to fertility in men and plays an important role, in particular in the formation of spermatozoa and in maintaining its normal morphology.
