近年来对肾素-血管紧张素-醛固酮系统(R-A-A系统)的研究有较大的进展。血管紧张素Ⅱ的作用,除了60年代已知的收缩血管与刺激醛固酮分泌外,还能刺激肾上腺髓质和交感神经末梢使儿茶酚胺分泌增加。此外,血管紧张素还作用于中枢神经系统,引起口渴感,刺激抗利尿素分泌和使交感传出冲动增加而升高皿压。在R-A-A系统与高血压的关系以及R-A拮抗剂治疗高血压的研究方面,也有新的进展。本文讨论R-A-A系统的生成、调节、作用及其与高血压关系的研究进展。
