近年来,学前教育义务化被热议,正反双方论证充分,各执一词,调和者亦有之。认为学前教育不应当义务化,原因不是国家无力负担,而在于人的成长规律、学前阶段的教育特性和出于避免现阶段义务教育诸多问题的扩散之考虑,国家应该加大学前教育的投入,使公办、民办园共同发展,避免将普遍性与强制性相勾连。我国学前教育应当采取“普惠而非强制,科学但不束缚”的方针,在此基础上,诸如“半天入园”或“隔天入园”以及强制实行提前一年的学前适应性教育不失为切实可行的方法。
