笔者任职于中山美术馆已有多年,整天忙碌于策展、展览以及其他各种事务性工作,经常有筋疲力尽之感。工作之余,我时常思考的一个问题是:美术馆的文化职能究竟是什么?美术馆的意义在哪里?如果说中小学里开设“美术”课,高校中开设“美术鉴赏”等通识类公共课程,是非美术专业学生扩大艺术视野、提高综合人文素质而成为更为全面的“人”的话。那么,全国这么多的美术馆,能够做些什么呢?更切确地说,能够为“人”在艺术陶养方面做哪些贡献呢? I have worked in Zhongshan Art Museum for many years, all day busy curatorial, exhibitions and other kinds of business work, often have a sense of exhaustion. One of the questions that I often think about from my spare time is: What is the cultural function of the art museum? What is the meaning of the art museum? If the “art” class is set up in primary and secondary schools, the “art appreciation” And other general public courses, non-art students to expand their artistic horizons, improve the overall human qualities and become more comprehensive “people ” words. So what can we do with so many art galleries all over the country? More precisely, what contribution can we make to the art of human beings?
