文化认同在跨文化交际中起着十分重要的作用。汉语旅游资料英译的主要目的是吸引国外游客而不是传播中华文化。因此,在将汉语旅游资料译成英语时,采用归化翻译或以归化为主、异化为辅的翻译策略,往往能更有效地使目的语读者对源语文化产生认同感,提高翻译质量,这就是汉语旅游资料英译的归化理据。
Cultural identity plays a very important role in intercultural communication. The main purpose of English translation of Chinese tourist information is to attract foreign tourists rather than to spread Chinese culture. Therefore, in the process of translating Chinese travel data into English, it is often more effective for the target language readers to recognize the source language culture and improve the quality of translation when domestication or foreignization is used to supplement the translation strategies. This is the naturalization basis for the English translation of Chinese tourist information.
